The bikini area is often the zone that makes beginners hesitate. But with the right wax and technique, it's absolutely doable at home — for several weeks. We'll explain everything to you, without taboos.
Why wax the intimate area?
Waxing offers longer-lasting hair removal than shaving, without stubbly regrowth. The new hair is softer, finer. No cuts, no itching — just smooth skin for several weeks.

Which wax for the intimate area?
The Strawberry Wax Bikini Zone KOKO WAX is specially developed for the intimate area: gentle formula, strong grip even on short hairs. For very reactive skin, the Coconut Wax or the Honey Wax can also be used.
Before the session: the most important things
- Hair length: 3 to 5 mm. If longer, trim slightly.
- Skin clean and dry — no oil or moisturizer.
- Apply the KOKO Preparation Spray to disinfect the area.
- For the first time, start with a simple bikini (outer contour).
Application technique
- Assume a comfortable position — lying down or standing with one leg raised.
- Apply the wax thinly in small strips in the direction of hair growth.
- Wait 20–30 seconds until the edges begin to solidify.
- Pull the skin taut with the other hand — especially important in this area.
- Pull off with a quick, flat tug against the direction of hair growth.
- Immediately place a cool hand on the treated area.
After the session
Apply the KOKO Aftercare Spray. Avoid tight synthetic underwear and sports for 24 hours afterwards. A gentle exfoliation 3 to 4 days later with the KOKO Body Scrub Coconut helps to prevent ingrown hairs.

The pain — what is it really?
The intimate area is more sensitive. But from the 2nd or 3rd session, the pain significantly decreases. The first time is always the hardest.
The KOKO All In Set contains everything for a complete full-body waxing at home. You can also subscribe to have your wax delivered regularly.
